Rave Reviews for Blushbutters newest kit!

First of all I want to say THANK YOU for all of you who have commented on my cluster frames! I really appreciate the time you take to say you like them! I don't think they have been as popular as the first set,(or not everyone has found them as did the first ones, in the first few days) so I guess people prefer the usual shape, but still, they have been downloaded almost 500 times! Thanks so much for those of you who commented!! They are still more popular than I thought they would be! LOL

This layout shows my Grandmother in her flower garden, many years ago (1975). I jut got Blushbutters new kit, Country kids, and was all set to do some farm layouts of my brother and I when we were little but then I saw this lace, and just had to do a layout with Grandma and that lace!! If you could zoom in and see the details, you would be as in love with it as I am, I'm sure!! I love eyelet lace, its got flowers on it, in satin stitches, and satin stitches all around the lace. Its really beautiful!! The next layout will have some of her animals, from the kit in it I promise!! LOL I made a frame out of some of the lace in the kit, and put a little touch of color with one of her flowers in the corners. I thought this kit would be great for kids, and farms...little did I know, it would also be good for Grandma's in their flower beds (and other pictures to, of course!!).

I love all the different colors Blushbutter included in the kit, and all the different animals. She even has baby chicks, which I thought was really cute. But BEST of all...She made a Doxie!!! LOL Well I don't know, the lace may still be my favorite (I just can't get enough of lace) but I love the fact that she put a doxie in it. I am soooo going to have to use the tractor also....hmmmm so many uses!! I think I will have to take a break in between the layouts, so I can get some other kits worked with too, but Mom has found me several cute pictures, so maybe I can put the other kits off till next week. After all tomorrow is Friday, and if I'm lucky enough to be able to scrap this weekend, I think I will work on more with this kit!

Kit Credit: Country Kids by Blushbutter You really SHOULD go check out her kit, its on sale for $12.00 right now, and its pretty big!

In other Scrapbooking news...Lara Payton of Dusty Bear is having a QP Exchange on her yahoo group, and the kit we are using is 50% off for a few days. You can read more about it on her blog.

Also Shawn at Designs by J3 is having a Sale on EVERYTHING in her Store for 48 hours. Everything is 50% off if you use the coupon code SALE. See her ad in her forum here.

Thats about all I know in the Digital Scrapbooking world. I haven't had much of a chance to look around lately. I don't even have any major real life news either! LOL I'm just happy that its warmer, but not hot yet, and the frogs are singing.

Oh well actually there is one thing...DH had to start feeding hot pants (the first little girl (goat) born this year) powdered milk (well for goat kids) because he saw that she weighed 5 lbs less, and the Mom is probably having trouble feeding both of them, because she has a problem with her bag, and only one side works. It makes me wonder if thats why Bunny is so small, because she should have been fed extra last year. Hopefully this will make Hot Pants grow up bigger, and be a nice big goat for giving us more babies!

Don't forget to check out the new kit of Blushbutters, and the two sales I told you about!!!
