Our Debt Free Hillbilly home.

Our View
At the top of our hill, looking down across the hayfield.

This week brought yet another surprise to our lives here on Hillbilly Hill Farm. God blessed us with a way to get out of debt...a couple years early! It's something we have been striving for, and one of the biggest reasons we sold part of the farm a few years ago. We thought we would have a couple more years of payments, but circumstances changed and we were able to move on to the next stage of our farm life.

It may be a slow acceleration, but now at least we can slowly start putting money into the farm, instead of the banks coffers.

God willing, we will stay out of debt...least with the farm. It may not make a noticeable difference in our finances at first, cause of so many things needing done around here that takes money...but eventually we should be able to breath a little easier.

Praise God for answering yet another prayer!

One day, we may be able to sit back and say hey, we built this...and it's perfect for US, maybe not for anyone else, but it has everything WE need, and that makes it perfect...one day.

Till then, we can still enjoy it, cause it's still a little slice of heaven...guess I just always want the whole pie! *giggle*

Now if I could just find time to catch up on everything...and stay that way!

  4. Wow, that is HUGE!!!! God did that for us, too, a short time ago, and there's no telling how many more years it would have taken without the unexpected blessing...for sure it would have taken years. YAYYYY for your blessing!!!
