Still enjoying my Daffodils!

I can't believe it, but I'm STILL enjoying my daffodils here!

The ones we planted away from the house took longer to start blooming, so they are looking better than the ones by the house...but even they are still blooming, even if they do have brown spots on them now. I'm so glad I thought to put some daffodils by this old rail fence, between the mum's we planted there last fall, because I love looking out the window when I'm at my computer and seeing them bloom! never see the ones by the house, unless I'm in the back yard...but I still like having them there.


The tulips we planted, in front of the daffodils by the house are blooming now too!  I'm sure loving having some flowers here this year, since there wasn't anything planted (besides trees) here when we moved!

DH said he thinks the daffodils like it here better than they did in Nebraska...cause they are doing better the first year we planted them, than they EVER did out there.  Guess that's yet another blessing we got when we moved...land that would give me my beloved daffies!  (Course...a lot of the problem was probably just ME, as I don't have a green thumb...but still, if they grow better here, without any more lovin' than they got out there, I'm happy!)  :-))

Needless to say, I'm sure enjoying our long daffodil season!  Love having flowers blooming, and do love daffies especially, as they are usually our first flower of the season...since I don't have anything that comes up sooner.

Ohhh....and I may have figured out what kind a bush we have, that we kept running over last year when we were moving, cause they was out in the way...I don't know why I didn't figure it out sooner, but.....I may have a couple little lilac bushes after all!  Not sure if they are the nice old fashioned lilacs, but they will work in a pinch...till I can get the good ones!  Yippee!!!  I do LOVE lilacs!  

I'm enjoying my flowers, and the break we had in the rain...not to mention the warmer temps!  Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
