This is Clover's baby...he was born on Thanksgiving, and was the first of our newest calves. He is growing quite well...is the biggest, both when he was born and NOW, even though the other one we had last fall wasn't born to long after this one, it's a lot smaller. Clover however is a bigger cow...so it's no wonder her babies are bigger. (Course...we also turned him into a steer, so that could have something to do with it too...maybe?!)
This little one however, looks downright wicked at times. I think it's how his hair stands up on top of his head...and the black around his eyes. LOL I thought he was kinda cute here though...even if he does look rather wicked.
He is eating quite well too...not just sucking down his Mom's milk, but eating some grain (he doesn't get much, but does some) and hay too. In another month or a little more we can wean him....so I get more cream, instead of HIM getting it all! Yippee! :-))
Love seeing how our farm babies change as they grow up!
