A funny
Well I had to laugh at myself today....and I mean laugh!! More than once I had tears running down my face. I managed to be pretty ok while it happen, but later, while I was telling DH I practically ROFL and then again later, I got to thinking about it while I did the dishes, and again ROFL, tears and all. Not sure if its a -you had to be there- type story or not, but here it is. (Feel free to laugh with me!!)
Once a month the Schwans man stops at our house, and I usually get something, (LOVE their silver mint bars, and chicken egg rolls!) Anyway, today was the day, he drove up, and got to the door before I managed to get to it myself. So as I was walking across the living room, I saw he was turned looking up the hill, and I heard something strange. I got to the door, looked out, and saw DH's little trailer rolling down the hill...it was really strange, and had never done that before, I think it had to turn around, and take off. He turns around and we both say how strange that was. Then the next thing I know he asked me if we had goats...least that's what I thought he said! I said "yes, as a matter of fact Galen just took three to the sale barn today". Straight faced, and everything because I thought we were talking about goats...yep, totally off my rocker today! LOL He looked at me, probably thinking I was joking but then saw I was serious, then what I said sunk in, and he said "No not goats, Ghosts! I'm surprised I didn't loose it then, but the more I thought about it the funnier it got I think...anyway, I kinda chuckled, and said no, I didn't think so, and we went on about our business. Its not until I called DH to tell him, that I lost it, and had a hard time telling it. He was laughing about it too, and said he always misses the good stuff...cause just this morning, he ran over to a neighbors house, and came back and asked me if anything interesting happened and it hadn't...so this afternoon I tell someone that DH just took three ghosts to the sale barn! Yep, not one of my better days, and yes, I am kinda blond!!! But I have to admit it was funny!!
Anyway, about the layouts! (yes I'm changing the subject! *giggle*) The first one is my Mom and her sister. And the 2nd one is my Great-Great-Great Uncle on my Mom's side. They are both back to my usual plain style, but after that silliness of earlier, I just can't think of what to change on them! LOL Ok, doubt I could anyway, but that sure doesn't help, with me giggling every time I think of it.

Oh yeah, we are three goats less today, because of DH going to the sale barn...with goats, NOT ghosts!! Hopefully they will be sold towards the first, and then he can find one or two he wants after they sell, and get them for a really good price....not more than what the three sell for! LOL Hopefully anyway! He took a couple nannies because they hog the food, and shove everyone else out, and they are lamancha (don't know if that's spelled right, but, they are the kind with no floppy ears, and we like floppy ears!) so he wanted to get rid of them. Hopefully he will find some boar goats, that aren't to expensive!! One of the goats he is taking, is one of the babies we had late winter. So it would be nice if he sold the three for enough for one or two boar goats.
Well better get things posted, have a good week!!!
Another great heritage LO - beautiful frame, set off by that gorgeous shade of blue. I enjoyed your ghost/goat story too :)
