Renfest weekend!

I hope everyone had a good weekend, and enjoyed the extra day if you were lucky enough to get it off!!

We got to go to a small Renaissance festival on Saturday in Omaha. They've had one every year for the past 4 years, but this is the first time we were able to go. It's not near as big as the one we've gone to in Kansas, but THAT one has been going on for way longer, so guess that's understandable.

We still enjoyed ourselves, and got to enjoy a turkey leg (we love those things, although I usually end up sharing mine with DH) and one of my favorite parts of a renfest...the Jousting.

I even found a chainmaille bracelet with blue beads on it that wasn't to expensive, to go with a pair of chainmaille earrings my Uncle bought me years ago that I've always loved. LOVE chainmaille jewelry for some reason!!


We enjoy our afternoon at the renfest, and made it home in time to enjoy sitting on our front porch with the dogs enjoying the peacefulness of our hillbilly country home. It was a blessed day! :)

The rest of the weekend flew by, and here it is Tuesday already! Gotta get busy, but thought I'd share a couple photos from the weekend. Have a wonderful week!! :-))
