The Dapper Doxie

We moved a couple of months ago to our wonderful home in the country. We had a house moved onto our part of the family farm last year and spent all winter and most of the summer fixing it up so we could move in. Today we poured the footings for our porch, and patio!! Our three doxies love the farm, a little to much sometimes so we had to put in a fence to keep them from roaming to far. Now they don't get out of it unless we can watch them!

Winter is comming now, the leaves have turned and a lot of them have fallen. There are still enough of them left to hear the wind blowing through the cottenwoods which is my favorite thing to listen to. Except maybe the frogs in the spring down by the creek. Hopefully next spring my husband and I will have time (or take time) to really enjoy the sights, sounds and smell of a country spring. Now however we get to look forward to the cold wind blowing around our new home while we are snuggled up inside watching our doxie's entertain us!!
