Spring!!

Spring, my favorite time of year!! Soon the Grass will be green, the trees will be budding out and the flowers will be blooming!! Already we can see a little green in the grass and I noticed the other day that my lilacs are starting to get leaf buds on them!! I can't wait till the frogs in the creek start singing, which is one of my favorite things about spring! Of course I really love the flowers also. The best thing though is how our furry babies enjoy the warm weather! They love to sun themselves outside and if we are out with them they show off by running around in big circles chasing each other. They like to do that inside and it is fun to watch in there but it is a lot funnier to see them do it outside in the wide open space. When Autumn gets tired she crouches down and Rascal will continue running wide circles around her and if he gets to close she pounces on him and then they are off again.

If we are outside so we can watch them they get to be out of “their” yard and they have soooo much fun! Running around chasing each other, exploring other parts of our farm, and hunting!! They like to look for rabbits in and around all the little nooks and crannies there are, and if they find one they get more exercise as they are off running again chasing it till we manage to call them back. If they spend much time outside running around they get so tired out, that they don’t do anything but sleep when they go back inside. Usually we get a nightly romp with them but if they have been entertained outside for any length of time that gets put off till the next night, but it is worth it to see how much fun they have outside in the beautiful spring sunshine.
