Treasures of Yesterday

I did another layout with Helen's roses and lace by Blushbutter today. The pictures are of my Great-Grandmother and her brothers and sisters. I did fade out the rose background a little bit so it wouldn't overpower the things on top of it, but its so pretty!! I love roses!! I really love this kit, and hope to do some more heritage pictures with it, because I think they look good with it! Even though alot of my heritage pictures have been with kits that arn't as bright, I love color, so want to get some color into my album too!! And this is the perfect kit for that!! And as you all know if you have read many of my posts, I LOVE LACE!! LOL And this kit has a lot of lace, although I know, I didn't use much in this layout! LOL I don't know if I will get any more layouts done today, because this took me forever for some reason, so if I do get one done, I will just edit my post and add it!

Edited: Wow this layout got picked for the Layout of the day at Gotta Pixel, Sept 10th!! Gotta Pixel gets lots of layouts in their gallery every day, so being picked is something I didn't ever figure would happen to me!! This has made my day!! LOL
