QP Challenge at Lara Payton's Yahoo Group

Here are a couple of 8X8 QP's I made for the challenge at Lara Payton's Yahoo Group. If you want to get a bunch of qp's come join the challenge. All you do is go buy the kit we are using, (its on sale) and then make at least one qp to share and you will receive all that everyone else makes (there are 14 of them already, not including mine!!)at the end of it. Lara Payton has more info and links to the kit on her blog. You still have plenty of time to join, as it goes till the 15th of May!!

Well my DH is gone for the day, he went with our neighbor down to KC because the neighbor had to pick something up, and doesn't like to drive in Kansas City. Plus we used to live down there, and he knows the area better. Also my sister-in-law had to go to Lincoln this morning, before she goes to work this afternoon....so I have the day to myself. I made it easier to get these qp's done, cause there are no distractions, but I will miss DH popping in and out during the day. I have some laundry to do, and should do come cleaning....don't know if I will though! LOL

Our nephew stopped by with his new baby yesterday!!! Its the first time we got to see her, she was born March 6th. I held her alot, as DH isn't really into babies, and neither is his sister. I think she would be spoiled rotten, if she was around me all that much. Although I would probably get to where I didn't want to hold her ALL the time, but still! LOL It was so nice to meet her, and get some pictures! I will try to get some scrapped this week if possible. I got some really cute ones of her big sister holding her.

I also had a good time helping Jazmine (her sister) refresh her memory on some piano related lessons we started a couple years ago, when she was here a lot in the summer. She said she was going to get to start piano lessons, and I really hope she is able too!! I am not to good a teacher, and she is a fast learner, and really interested in it, so I think it would be really good for her!! While I can stumble through some songs, she needs someone who is much better than I am at the piano. She always wants to play the piano when she is here, and go through some worksheets (and music flash cards) I have to try to help her learn. At least with her being this interested in it, for so long, her Mom probably knows its not just a passing fancy! LOL

Well I think I am going to get off this computer, and go outside for a bit! I hope you all have a great week!
