Love my alone time!

I really love it when I have mornings alone! LOL I seem to get more scrapping done, in the morning, I don't know if its because I am fresh, and not so tired, or what. However I find it so much easier when I am alone in the house....least usually. My Sister-in-law is working days right now, so she was gone, and DH went up to the neighbors, soooo after reorganizing the freezer a little (so I knew what I had, and could actually FIND it) I sat down at my computer and ignored the rest of the house, and got a couple layouts done! Now I will have to go clean the kitchen, sweep floors, and make an apple pie I guess. But thats ok, least I got a little bit caught up on my scrappin, this week....maybe if I'm lucky, I can finish catching up next week. That is with what I HAVE to do for my CT's this month. I am not caught up on Mom and Dad's album yet! LOL

The first layout here, is one I actually finished before I went to bed last night. Its my niece when she was 2 1/2 to 3. I did this for a challenge Doris Castle is doing. You can find out more info about it on her blog if you want. Kit Credit: Make it Yours Challenge Kit by Doris Castle

The 2nd layout shows my Dad helping some of my grandparents foster boys, ride his pony. I don't remember much about having horses, but when I was really little, they did have one or two. The 3rd layout shows me and my brother and another foster boy of my Grandparents, on a horse that was a cousins. I loved horses when I was younger, I finally grew out of it, but it took awhile.

Don't forget to come back here tomorrow to see my Mothers Day kit. I will have the preview here on my blog, and the link on my google group. I hope everyone will have a great weekend, and have a good time with family and friends! No major plans here, but then we don't have kids! LOL

I want to wish my Mom a very happy Mothers day especially. You are the best, and have helped give me some great memories! Thank you so much for that. Also thanks so much for continuing to help me now, by scanning in photo's and sending them to me. That helps a lot, because otherwise I would always be using photo's of our goats....doxies.....and farm! LOL How boring would that be. I have been so blessed with two wonderful parents. Granted we don't always agree, but you don't have to, to love each other. Thanks for being there for us Mom and Dad!!
