Late night last night

Well yesterday, we went and did our monthly shopping, and then on the way home stopped at the goat auction. DH wants to get a bigger herd of goats going, so we ended up buying 4 more goats last night. They all came out together, so are from the same place, I like getting more than one, that knows each other, so they aren't so lonely at first, till they get used to ours. We spent a little more than I planned, because there were 4, 3 at the price we paid, would have been fine, but the 4th went over, but that's OK this time, cause I like all of them, and I can move a little money around in my planned spending for this month, and we should be ok. They are probably last years kids, so are about the size of Romper (our star of the barn, born last spring). Actually they could be just a bit bigger, especially tall wise. Hopefully I can do a layout with our new goats soon! We didn't get home till 10:30 last night, and then had to unload the truck...goats, AND shopping, so didn't get to bed till almost midnight.

It was nice to get the new goats though, although that's probably the last for this year. Maybe we can get some more next year, if the ones we have, have babies, so we can sell them, and then get some more...that is, if we can find the time to add onto our barn! Its kinda small for the 14 we now have, let alone any more. But oh what fun they are!

I did get two layouts done this afternoon though! The first one has my favorite barn cat on it. She was playing with another kitten, that was in the concrete tube, she was sitting on. Unfortunately I didn't manage a picture with the other cat showing herself. The 2nd layout is a picture of my Mom and my niece when I was over in Missouri this spring.
