Layouts using Lara's Blooming Splendor Kit

I managed a couple more layouts today...didn't know if I was going to, cause didn't get started till late. I also tried to go spend the GC I got for being runner up in that contest, but went over it (of course) and paypal wasn't working so now have to talk to the site again, because my GC isn't usable anymore! LOL Darn Paypal anyway! I had just been into my account to check my balance, and it was fine, so I was surprised, that I later found out they were having trouble. So I don't have my new kits yet, and I thought I would...I don't have many of Doris's kits yet, so can't wait to get them, and see how I like them...course I am so behind in scrappin, I'm not sure when I will actually USE them! LOL I'm sure I can squeeze a layout or two in sometime! :)

This first layout is my brother and I in Minnesota when we were little. Wasn't I mean, saying Boys are mean, as the title? LOL I did think he was now and then when we were growing up, but then he was a typical boy, (I suppose, as I don't have any to compare him to) and I was so much a "GIRL". I still am really. The 2nd layout is my Mom holding my niece, her only living Grandchild.
