Went to a chat last night...

and had a lot of fun. It was one Tina Williams was doing, only her chat room crashed so we had to go over her friends. It was a really cool room, where you could share layouts, I hadn't ever been to one like that before. Anyway I had a great time talking to the ladies. The assignment was to use the crop kit...ALL of the crop kit, and you could use the part you got just for coming to the crop if you wanted, but didn't have to. So this is what I came up with, I still have pictures from last year (how sad is that! LOL) so I used a picture of some of the flags that are always put up around the courthouse every year. Its really pretty when they are all up.

Kit Credit: Patriotic America by Tina Williams By the way, that's the link to the full size kit, which is on sale for a short time!! I just love those stars that she had stapled together, that was part of the attendance gift for the crop!! I am sure I saw them in the previews of the kit!!

I worked some more on the other special layouts, so this is the only one I have to post today. I started having trouble with one, so I put it away and did this. LOL Hopefully it works, so when I go back to it, I will get it!

DH brought two old Allis Chalmers All-Crop combines home today. He actually had paid for them this last winter, but just hadn't gotten to get them home till now. I'm sure he will be having fun cleaning them up, when he has the time!! I think he still has a third one to get, hopefully he can do that soon, so they aren't in the neighbors way.

One of our nieces is going to be here shortly so I better get this posted. We haven't seen her for a while, so its nice she can stop!!!

I hope you all had a great week, and will have a wonderful weekend!!!

  1. What a fantastic & so pretty layout from Tina's kit. Love the star cluster so beautiful with its appearance. You placed it stratigically on your page scrap & its definitely delivers. The Court House photo is so revealing in its placement of the various flags to celebrate Independence Day. A day of remembrance & of a day to strive to make a better future for our children & their future children. Leavin LUV! XOXOXOXO
