Card Shower Invitation

Ok, I know I mentioned to Mom and Dad about having a card shower for them, when I asked if they wanted an actual party (we aren't a big party family, so this time I thought I would ask! LOL) So since I already mentioned to them, that I would do a card shower for them, if they didn't want the party, I thought I would post this here. This is the post card I made to send to family and friends inviting them to send a card to Mom and Dad for their 40th. On the back, I put a drawing of a picture of Mom and dad, under the words. Its kinda neat. I smudged any info I didn't think needed to be displayed on here, so if you are family or friends wanting an invite, if you don't get one by the 2nd week in August, you might want to e-mail me! It either went astray, or I didn't have your correct address! :) However if you are one of my regular visitors, and just want to adopt my parents, as your own, or your grandparent, or just a friend, and would like to participate in the card shower, e-mail me, and I will e-mail you a copy of this page, unsmudged so you have the info! (Homemade cards welcome!!) LOL

I have a couple weeks to get the addresses written out onto the cards now. Course I have to try to figure out if I have the right addresses too, as some may have changed since the last time I sent out anything. Oh well, it will be fun to see all the different cards they get from all our family and friends.

This is all I have managed to do today, too, maybe tomorrow I can play with Lara Payton's new kit!! :) Or one of Tina Williams I haven't managed to use yet, will depend on what pictures call to me, I guess when I go looking at them. Have a great night/day everyone!!

The cards, ribbon, along with the background page colorful patterns are indeed a layout within a layout. Fantastic presentation! HUGS! XOXOXOXO
