Lots done for a change

Well I hope all of you had a great day yesterday!! I spent some quality time with hubby yesterday evening, and then we went to the top of our hill to watch the fireworks with my sister-in-law. They were better this year!!!! LOL Now I wouldn't say they were wonderful, but they were pretty good for a small town. I tried to get some pictures but haven't gotten them off my camera to know if I got anything worth while. Night time pictures aren't something I know much about taking, so we will see! LOL

This first layout is My Mom, my brother, and Mom's 1st cousin looking at a ship in a bottle. My brother wanted to try to figure out how to make his own. Kit Credits: By the shore kit, Folding Frames, and Journaling Bundle ALL by Lara Payton. I just love these "folding" frames of hers!!!

Next up is two qp's I made for the qp exchange on Lara Payton's yahoo group. Kit Credit: Blissful Blossoms kit by Lara Payton. Feel free to come join Lara's Yahoo group and do a qp for the exchange, you will get all the qp's that are done in return! This round is over the 15th of July.

The next qp is one I did for Tina Williams qp exchange on her yahoo group. Kit Credit: Hope by Tina Williams There is still plenty of time to join this exchange too!

This last layout is one I did for the diner challenge at DigiZines Digital Den. The pictures are my niece and my brother.

Kit Credit: Queen Prissy Pink Mini kit by Deanna Patterson The frame is my own, the butterfly was a brush, sorry I don't knew where I got it....was a long time ago, when I didn't know I should remember! LOL I really like this little mini kit, so even though my brother is in the pictures, I had to use it! LOL He will survive having his picture on girly colors.

We had the surveyor's out here today doing their thing so now we know that we will end up with about 35 acres if the other part sells, and our nephew will end up with almost 5.....that is of course when and if he pays us for it! LOL We are letting him make payments, because he can't afford to just outright pay for it, and can't get a loan. Its the kind of start we got from my Grandparents, although we had way more of a loan, but it's nice that we can return the favor with a loved one. Now the wait begins on finding a buyer for our 60 acres, while I hope it doesn't take 3 years like the house in Polk did, if it does, it does. It won't matter so much here, because we can rent the pasture which will pay the taxes on it. At least it will be down to a more manageable size since DH isn't as fast and mobile as he used to be.

I heard from my brother that my niece is out of surgery and doing fine. She should go home tomorrow if all goes well. I thank God for his wonderful mercy and for her.

We are having family over for the weekend (if they make it) so I probably won't be posting much till next week. Then hopefully I can get back to doing my usual daily, or at least several times a week posts! LOL So have a great weekend!!! Thanks for those of you who were kind enough to leave me a comment on my kit!!!
