I've been playing today!!
After getting a few things done around the house this morning, I've been playing this afternoon finally!!!!!!! LOL I just had to play with Blushbutters new wedding kit, and even used one of her new fonts!!! I thought the font really fit the picture, because it seems like a happy font to me. Sooo this first layout is my DH when we went to the wedding a couple weeks ago, I cut him out of a picture actually, I will use the whole picture sometime, but I wanted a layout of just him. He said something funny, (I missed it, because I was not paying attention naturally, with the camera in my hands! LOL) Anyway I snapped it just when everyone laughed, and his Aunt Betty is sitting right beside him, and I just love the picture of her, (not sure if she will) so I will for sure be using it sometime! I do adore my DH when he smiles....ok, I just adore him anytime, but love his grin! LOL
The next two layouts are the guests from our wedding. The little bit of lavender/purple I recolored the elements so they are that color, because I wanted a touch of my wedding colors. I also curled the paper on the first one, so it showed the picture. I am so looking forward to doing more with this wonderful kit! So stay tuned, I will as soon as I get the chance! LOL
Kit Credit: (for ALL three layouts) Victorian Wedding Kit by Blushbutter Font on the first one is Blushbutter Whimsy by Blushbutter
Oh yeah, look close at the first wedding layout, my Grandpa is sitting in the front row and it looks like he is sleeping!! ROFL I remembering laughing the first time I saw that. It didn't surprise me, and I'm glad my Uncle Orison caught it on film!! :)
Yesterday I canned my first pickles...how sad that I'm 37 and just now saying that! LOL I know I have helped my Mom do some, but that's just not the same, so I don't count that. Besides its been years ago, and I don't remember much about it. Anyway I used my Grandma's recipe for lime pickles, and oh wow, they are so good!! I always loved her lime pickles, and even though we should let them sit a little while to get the flavor more through them, we naturally had to open a jar and try them. I think they are almost half gone now! *giggle* I think I am going to have to hide the other jars so they don't disappear right away. Course I guess DH isn't the ONLY one who has ate them....I have had a few. LOL
I figured out my computer problem without having to call the warranty department. That's always nice, plus I didn't have to totally redo my computer, which is wonderful! I thank God for that!!! I guess he knew I didn't have the time, so put the ideas into my head, of what to try. I finally got my DVDs done, not as fast and easy as I would like, as the trial of the software I was using wasn't working as well as it should, but at least I finally got it done, and figured out I didn't want to buy that program! So if I ever have to do anymore, I guess I will have to go looking again.
Thanks so much for all the comments on Jamie's kit! She (and I) really appriciates them!! I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Your love for him shows in your layouts with the care and time you spend on each layout!Beautiful work, and woohoo to your pickle making they sound absolutely deliscious! I'm 38 and have never pickled before ever so don't beat yourself up to much. I can tell this recipe for lime pickles is going to be a favourite every year now!
