Memories & Goats

I thought I would play with one of Tina's Grandpa's kits today. I kept them simple though, so they aren't real involved. I did one layout for my parents album, and a two pager for ours.

The first layout is my Dad's shop, when it was first moved in. And the 2nd layouts are our goats enjoying some cornstalks that DH gave them.

Not much else different going on here. I canned more pickles (hope to do one more batch, just because LOL) and dried some tomatoes, because the neighbor gave us a bunch, and I didn't know what to do with all of them, as I knew they wouldn't last long enough to eat them, with out a lot of them going bad. Not sure what I'm going to do with the dried ones, but I'm sure they will be good in soups if nothing else, cause DH likes soup in the winter. He is actually liking to just eat the dried ones, for that matter, so I guess he can do that too, if he wants. I will have to go surfing sometime looking to see what people do with dried tomatoes, but that will have to wait till I have a little more time.

Anyway, I hope you all had a good weekend! Thanks for stopping by!!

  1. Love the way you made the goat literally "jump" out of the picture!

  2. So cute! Had to laugh about the goats as I remembered a friend whose ex-husband is a botonist for the US. He moved her to CT and left her to deal with all the acres of veggies he planted and bought goats to mow the front lawn. The goats were the last straw. Next thing I knew, she'd moved back to VA!
