New Truck

This is my DH and our new truck. We have had a friendly argument going for the last week, about who's truck it is. Since we traded my Expedition in on it, I say its mine...till we get me a new car, but naturally he says's its his. So since its good to find a compromise, I'm willing to say its OURS....is he??? ROFL

DH has always wanted a red truck, so he is really happy with this one I know. I love that its red to, for some reason I always wanted a red convertible, when I was growing up, and yeah this isn't one, but it is red, so that works. Besides I'm past the convertible stage now....don't need that, but I do still like red for the color of my vehicles...DH had a red car when we first met, no wonder I fell in love!! ROFL I like other colors and won't have to have a red car if we find one I like, but I have to admit, I would look more at a red or burgundy car, than any other color, although I love the blue's too.

Anyway I just had to do a couple layouts about this truck, and wanted to include our silly banter in it. LOL (Yes some has been blotted out, as its for us only)

My parents went home yesterday, we had a really good visit and I was glad they finally got to come for a visit together. Hopefully there isn't as much time in between visits as there has been. Mom and I had fun talking, and Dad enjoyed spoiling our goats, even more than they already were!! They came bearing gifts too...Apples, goat feed that DH can't find here, and a new toy for DH and a couple really pretty bead bracelets and earrings for me. I love bracelets...well jewelry really, even though I don't usually have a good reason to wear it. And I love apples, I put some in the dehydrator yesterday, so we will have some of those yummy dried apples, and hmmmm fresh apple pie, apple crisp.....apples just to eat fresh!! I may even have to make some muffins, haven't had any of them for a while. Thanks Mom and Dad!!!!!

The apples around here (and over there) got froze this spring, so there isn't nearly as many as usual. Apple harvest is down 75% we have heard, and our tree didn't have ANY on it, so it was a welcome surprise when they brought some over for us. Fall just isn't the same without fresh apples!! I got to use my really cool apple peeler that DH found for me last year. I just love how easy it makes cutting up a lot of apples.

Well hopefully I can get back to doing a layout or two every day or every other day this next week. Don't hold your breath though!! :) I hope everyone has a great weekend!!
