Yesterday was shopping day. I so hate shopping, and this time of the year always seems worse, think its cause our bills are higher in the summer, so I don't have any extra money to fall back on. This year is worse to, so needless to say I had to again, take several things off my list. We have food thankfully, just may not always be what we want. However we have chickens running around out side, which provide us with eggs, and of course chicken...so that helps....we can always make goodies with eggs, since we seem to be getting enough of them now (deviled eggs sound kinda good...may have to make some). Anyway I'm thankful that's over for another month.
I also got another skirt made, want to do at least two more, I've been collecting that cheap dollar a yard material from Wally for a while, so I have several cut out, all ready to sew up...just hadn't gotten around to it. Can you tell I'm a cheap skate? *giggle* I can't help myself, if there is something cheap, and I can stand the looks of it, I sometimes tend to buy it, instead of something more expensive. Especially when it comes to clothes that are mostly for around the farm. Course clothes to me are just not really all that interesting, so I don't really get into picking out the prettiest or best....just get what ever I find, that looks half way ok to me. Skirts and t-shirts are my all time favorite outfit! LOL
Anyway, got some things to do, so better get off here, hope you have a great weekend!
