Cats
Yesterday I went outside to see how DH was coming with the fence he has been working on lately and caught this photo of one of the kittens on a post that is leaning against the barn with the wild sunflowers in front of it. I thought it was cute with the cat and the flowers so had to snap the photo. When I first saw that cat it was walking across the barn roof, but I'm glad it stepped onto the post before I caught it with my camera cause it was much neater looking that way.
Course once I got over to where DH was working he stopped and when he stops....Tractor Buddy has to strike if she is anywhere around. First she jumped up on a tire that is on a trailer with an old barrel on it we would use for water when we had to water trees...before we had rural water here. Then she tried to jump up onto the barrel since DH was standing right by it, but it was to high for her so she fell back to the tire and DH felt sorry for her so he picked her up....then of course, she had to climb up to his shoulders which is her favorite place to be.
DH got tired of her licking him so he pulled her down and held her for a little bit like a baby, then put her down on the ground. She was happy to have his attention for a short time anyway, even if she did have to put up with being held like that. *giggle*
I do enjoy watching our cats...as well as our other animals. Cat's aren't something I want inside our house a lot, but they are are sure fun and I love having them around. Watching Tractor Buddy and DH is one of my favorite things although watching the cats play together is a lot of fun too. I guess I just love how our animals keep us entertained. :)
Well I better get busy, DH found someone who has some apples they aren't going to use, so I am going to make some apple sauce...and can some sliced apples...and who knows what other mischief I'll get into with the apples. LOL These apples are kinda like the ones we usually have (have no idea what variety they are), so they may not make the BEST apple sauce, but it will still be good I'm sure. I'm just happy to have a few to play with since our tree didn't give us any this year. I LOVE it when DH manages to scrounge ME something not just himself, although they are really for US since he will be helping eat them. :)
Have a great day!
Love the pictures! The cats are sooo cute! I am more of a cat person than a dog person. *lol* ... I would rather have a cat in the house, than a dog... But that's just me. :)
ReplyDeleteI suppose I don't get credit for scrounging the Wild Plums or the Pears, either....?
