Spoiled kitty & first signs of frost.

This cat is just getting so spoiled! She thinks she is one special kitty, with her insisting on all the attention when either of us get close enough for her to snag.


Case in point...her favorite person in the above photo. She will climb onto his shoulders if at all possible.

She of course will settle for me, when he isn't available like the other day when I was standing by the truck. Even her Pest in training hoped up and lay in my arms for a short time.


But today I caught this photo of her lounging inside the truck on the nice soft comfy seats and one of DH's sweatshirts. Can we say "Spoiled"?!! I don't know if it's the nice comfy cushy seat, or his smell on his sweatshirt that she has taken a liking to, but DH has seen her in the truck several days in a row, when the window was rolled down, so I'm thinking she is getting used to having a nice bed...what is she going to do when it gets cold...the windows won't be down then?

Oh yeah...I DO realize that it's OUR fault that she is as spoiled as she is, but that doesn't mean I can stop myself from blogging about it! *giggle*

Speaking of cold...

...DH took this photo of the roof of my car this morning. FROST? ALREADY?!!!! I knew it was nippy this morning, but till he mentioned the frost on the car, I didn't realize just HOW nippy. It's not been like that on the grass yet, but I'm sure it's coming. I'm not sure I'm ready for winter quit yet...I'd like to enjoy Autumn a little longer, but at this rate, if it's starting to frost already, we may not have as long to wait as usual. Not that I'm surprised after having cooler temps than normal most of the spring and summer.

It did get nice this afternoon though. One of the ducks even played in the tub of water that DH keeps full for them and the chickens. Course maybe they would do that even if it was cold...I don't know, as I don't know all that much about ducks. LOL
