Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Turkey Day to all of you in the U.S.!! I had to take a photo of the turkey shaped butter I made for tomorrow for my Happy Thanksgiving post...strange I know. LOL I do hope everyone has a safe and very happy holiday weekend! :)


I like to do a Thankful LO every year, and thought I was not going to make it before thanksgiving this year, but I managed to today between baking pies and getting some of the other food ready to go, along with other things I needed to get done. I made some "Thankful For" wordle word art for the LO listing some of the things I'm thankful for this year.

Naturally that's not everything I'm thankful for, but I don't think I'd have had room for everything, and also when I'm TRYING to think of things, I can't, so couldn't think of everything when I was typing in words on the wordle site. Of course I thought of a few more after I finally settled on this one but had spent so long getting this one figured out that I hated to do more. LOL I especially wanted Laughter in it, as I'm extreemly thankful for that, but...I guess there isn't really room for everything, so what I did put will have to suffice.

I may have to do some more LO's with wordart from the wordle site, cause I think it's kinda neat...but we will see if I ever get around to it. I'm so picky about how it looks it takes me far to long to get one I like...so it could be awhile before I do another. LOL

I used some freebie's I picked up at Raspberry Road Designs blog & store. I used some clusters from the Fall Basket Cluster Set that is free in her store for a limited time...I also used a background from the Enchanted Fall add on, and some elements from the Harvest Blessings Add on. All of that is free so far...but I don't know how long it will stay that way, so you better run and get it soon, if you want it!

I had fun playing...although was in kind of a hurry. I just LOVE Fall colors for my farm LO's, so I'm sure I'll be using lots more of those cool clusters when I get around to it. :)

I don't just think about all the things I'm thankful for at Thanksgiving, but this time of the year I tend to do a little more of it than usual. I'm especially thankful for the wonderful Man I married who is the light of my life. I'm also thankful for our farm and animals and all of our family, friends and acquaintances! That means YOU, if you are reading this. DH & I may not always agree with everyone all the time, but who does, so yes we DO love all of you, and hope you will have a Great Thanksgiving Weekend!! :)
