Pigeons
We had a fantastic Thanksgiving Day here on our little hillbilly farm. There was a lot of giggling and laughing coming from me, and a lot of teasing and tolerating that his wife has totally lost it coming from DH. I tell you some days I just can't keep from entertaining DH A LOT, and yesterday was one of those days...I even forgot to get the turkey that I had cooked earlier in the week out and warm it in the oven as I was getting everything else together...so it was heated in the microwave. See told you I had totally lost my mind! *giggle* (Yes I think if I hadn't of had it already cooked, I would have remembered it needed to be, but since it just needed warming....I forgot to get it in the oven on time, although its one of my favorite things to have on Thanksgiving...after the fruit salad.)
Oh but it was so nice to laugh a lot on Thanksgiving, (not just about the turkey LOL) I think it's one of my favorite Thanksgivings for several years...even though it was only DH and I here.
Yesterday afternoon I went outside and got a few photos of our pigeons, including one with two of our babies in it. Course they had their back turned to me, so I couldn't get a good one of their ugly little faces...that may be mean, but baby pigeons are UGLY when they are little, but they sure get pretty when they grow up. The first photo is, I think, the bird these babies belong to. I'm sure looking forward to DH getting their fly way finished, so we can see them outside enjoying it.
I just LOVE the green and pink on this ones neck, it has the most pink I think...and it's so pretty.
Well I better get going, hope you all had a great Thanksgiving too, and didn't eat TO much. It is sure nice outside today...got into the mid 60's. Have a great weekend! :)

I like that green and pink too. It is so pretty.
