Heat Wave!!

We are having a heat wave today!! It's in the upper 30's, and actually melting a little for a change. Course with so much to melt, it will be a while before it shows up all that much, but it's still nice that you can go outside and not freeze!! It's still hard to walk around without slipping and sliding in the wet snow, but it was good to get out for a change.

I went out to see Yani today, cause she should be having puppies any day now. I felt her (since looking at her tells me nothing, cause she has to much fur, for me to be able to tell if she has "baby" fat just by looking) and she felt kinda larger...but when I moved my hand down under her belly I could tell she MUST be going to have babies soon, cause she was full of milk. If she didn't have so much fur, I'd have been able to see how far down she was hanging. LOL I just hope everything goes well, and she has come cute puppies we can watch grow up...least till we find homes for them.

DH put some bales in one of the rooms in the barn, and made a little warmer place for her, so even if it gets cold again, they should be warm. Course it could make it harder to see them when they are tiny, but I guess we can take a flashlight out there so we can. I can't wait, because I just LOVE puppies!! LOL

Oh yeah, and can you believe that today is the FIRST day this year, that I got some photos? Somethings wrong with me! *snicker*

Well gotta go, busy doing things that doesn't translate to interesting stories for my blog lately, but maybe eventually I'll actually get back to more news worthy past times. *giggle*
