Is Spring Coming?!!

Although we may get another cold spell, or even more than one, and possibly even some more snow (PLEASE NO!!) at least it would appear like spring could be around the corner! Our chickens have been taking a long break from their number one job, this winter, which is supplying us with eggs...but a week or two ago we got one, then a few days later another...and finally in the last day or two DH came in carrying 3 or so in his hands.

Tonight, he came in with some in his hand, and put them down and pulled several more out of his coat pocket, 10 in all!!! Yippee!! Maybe I won't have to buy more eggs for a while, if I'm lucky!! LOL These still need washed and put away, but I just had to get a photo of a "sign" of spring in these parts, even if it turns out it's a ways off yet. The warm temps of the last week, has made the chickens think it could be spring.

Also more good news, we came home from the Dr appointment DH had today, and Rascal came out to greet us. He seems to be feeling a lot better, not 100% yet, but much better! He even barked once or twice for hamburger, so he seems to be on the mend. :)

Well we have had a busy week so far here, and it's not over, so I'm going to get this posted so I can hopefully get to bed soon, just wanted to share the latest happenings here on the farm.
