Fun with Bubbles

I've always LOVED bubbles, they are so fun to watch, as they float through the air, especially when you can see the beautiful colors on them. Not having kids around here much, I don't get to enjoy them to often anymore. *sigh*


However, since I knew there was a chance we would get at least one of our young nieces to stay for a few days I bought a couple cheap things of bubbles, hoping I could entice them into playing with them them so I could enjoy them and even hopefully, get some photos. It's HARD to get good clear photos of bubbles as they float off on the breeze, I took a ton of photos and only kept a couple of the single bubbles, because most of them weren't real good. I really love how our house is reflected in this first photo, and couldn't resist keeping the 2nd photo with the chicken in the background.


It was really fun watching Jazmine get a bunch of nice sized bubbles to come out of the wand, and she liked to try to catch one on her wand, without breaking it. She was the best at getting a nice amount of bubbles in the air.


Jazmine's little sister was here for a few hours yesterday, and she had the most fun chasing down Jazmine's bubbles and popping them. She would swing at them with her wand, or stomp them. I had to laugh when she would chase them down, even though I loved to see them alive and well...which they wouldn't be if she caught them. LOL

I was pretty happy to be able to have a bubble photo shoot, even if I didn't get a ton of GOOD single bubble photos. It was fun to watch all the pretty colors they had as they floated by.

I even tried a few swings with the wand myself...I guess I'm still just a kid at heart. *giggle*

Well better go, Jazmine's still here for a couple more days, as is her Aunt (another Niece of ours) Abbie, so I should get off this computer and socialize. I just had to share the bubble photos that I uploaded while the girls were in town with my hubby. There are lots more on flicker...although only one other single bubble photo, which isn't as good. :)
