Gaming Central

I've always loved playing board games...most video and computer games bore me to death, (I do play spider solitaire some on my computer...but that's about it) but when it comes to board games or card games I don't get bored to often. Course that could be because I have never found anyone to play with me on a regular basis.

However this week, with one of our nieces visiting...I'm in gaming heaven! We have done other things, like making cheese, butter & soap (and maybe lotion if we get around to it) but we have had plenty of time to play games too...because she is like me and loves it too!! We go back and forth between all our games and have a ball!

Jazmine even enticed DH into playing a game with her...something I haven't been able to accomplish for a long time now, not that I've tried a lot, since we do seem to keep busy, but it would still be nice if we could play a few games once or twice a month instead of waiting for someone to come visit, who likes to play. LOL I remember every once in a while, growing up I could con my Dad into playing a game with me...more often that I could my Mom actually. I also played some games with my Uncle in Minnesota...course it was never often enough to my way of thinking.*giggle*


It's been nice having our niece here for a visit...and would be, even if she didn't like to play games, but that IS an added benefit. :-)) Her little sister will be coming in a few days, so I doubt we will be able to play as much...cause she is only 3, but it should be fun getting to know her better too. We haven't seen near enough of them, since they live to far away for us to see very often. In fact, this is the first time we got to see their baby brother, who was born just before Christmas last year.


Our newest nephew is a cutie. Here he is with his Uncle Jim...our nephew. He is staying with his Grandma while the girls are here...not knowing us, I wasn't sure that it was a good idea for him to stay here yet, being as he is so young. I'd love to get to know him too, and I LOVE babies, but I'd hate for him to be to upset about being here without an adult he knows.

Well I better get going, gotta get supper together. Oh and we are STILL waiting on Daisy to calve, she doesn't seem to be in a big hurry. I'm sure I'll be posting about it when it happens, even if the girls are still here. Otherwise...I don't know when I'll get back to post cause it's hard to get computer time with company. :)
