Family Visit & Spring

Our niece and her family stopped by for another quick visit on Saturday morning, so we could see her new baby! She was home with Grandma the day before so her parents could go for their walk, but it was so nice that they had time to stop and let us see her the next day. She is totally adorable and has a LOT of hair! LOL She is the youngest of our nieces/nephews (or great niece in her case).

She was sleeping when she first got here, but finally woke up as I held her. She wasn't sure about this strange person holding her, and started to cry, but didn't get a full fledged cry out before she quieted down again so I didn't have to pass her over to her mother to soon. I was happy about that, as I wasn't near ready to give her up. LOL

I do love babies...just usually I have to content myself with loving the 4 legged variety, but when we get to see our niece's and nephew's little ones I'm in baby heaven! :-))

One of our other little (great) nephews came along with them. He is our nephew's (brother of the niece that was here) oldest, and we don't get to see him very often, but it was good to see him too. He's 6 now and has a baby sister we've not met at all yet...well not really a baby, as she is two. Maybe one of these days we will get to see her too.

Other than their visit, our weekend was pretty much the same as they always are...not that I'm complaining, cause I love our life here on the farm. It's nice to have family stop by now and then though. :-))

In other news...

Today....Spring has officially arrived here on Hillbilly Hill Farm!!! I heard the frogs in the creek for the first time this year...so even if we have another late snowstorm...or cold spell...to me, spring is here! Yippee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
