Praise God!!

I know, its been a few days since I posted. Not by choice, but I have been busy redoing my computer. More about that in a litle bit, but first the layout I finally got to do. This is my brother, when he was 22 months old. Cute wasn't he! LOL

Teri and Deb are leaving Divine Digital, by the way, and their kits are all 30% off till the end of the month because of it. They will be opening their own store the 1st of Dec....or at least hopefully by the middle of December, depending on how much trouble they have with their computers, and software! LOL Least thats what they are hoping!! So go get any kits you are wanting of theirs now, while they are on sale, and then look for their new store in Dec!!!

Now, computer trouble....yep, I have been thinking I needed to reformat my computer because of a few irritating things it was doing, and it was slowing down, but Sat I found out that someone had got into our paypal account and charged some things to it, some of which went on our credit card. Thankfully Paypal got the credit card charged back right away, and has said we will get the rest back soon, so I am not worried about that, its just the fact that someone got into it! And How did they? Paypal said to check the computer with virus software, which I did, and I didn't find anything, but I thought since I had planned on redoing my computer anyway, that I may as well do it now, JUST IN CASE.

So I spent Sunday backing up (I try to keep backed up, on my portable hard drive but wanted to do dvd's too) and I also went through my scrapping stuff and picked out some that I wanted to put back on my compter. Then Monday and yesterday was doing the format and getting all my programs, and stuff back on. Oh and updates...although this morning I spent most of the morning getting Microsoft office updates....I had no idea there were that many!! Microsoft office was the first program I put back on my computer, only because of the fact that I use outlook for my e-mail....bet you can guess what program was 2nd! Yep PSP!! Although I didn't use it till today. Bummer!!

Anyway it all went well with only one glitch....which could have been horrible. I am almost positive I put my pictures on my portable hard drive, but yesterday I went to put that stuff back on my computer and they wern't there. I do know that the day before when I had to restart my computer after installing something, I did forget to unplug my little hard drive from the computer, and I went and did something away from the computer, and when I came back, my computer was scanning it, and it said something was possibly wrong with the hard drive...which is why it was scanning it, I couldn't stop it from doing this, and didn't want to just unplug it incase that would mess something up, so I left it, and it did something that I couldn't catch before it went to another screen. So either I DID forget to put them on it, or it got rid of them, but I had no pictures.....just as I was starting to panic, I remembered to go start up my old computer, that I kept as a back up, and look on there. THANK YOU GOD!!!!! The first of this month, I had put them over there, and then forgot that I had! LOL (I think I went around thanking God all afternoon for having had me put them on that computer!!) Don't ask me how I missed putting them on DVD!! (they are now though! LOL) I have some good shots that I would have just been sick, had I lost them!

Pictures are a wonderful way to remember things, and I knew I wouldn't want to loose them, but when faced with the possibility that they were gone, I realized how much they really do mean to me. It may be kinda sad how much, they do, (after all they are just things) but they are my story, because I am not so good at actually writting it. (Although at times I do get carried away on here huh! LOL)

Alls well that ends well I guess, and I now know that I should change my PW, on the important things anyway, every little bit, AND backup my pictures on DVD (not just my little hard drive) every little bit!! LOL And it was confirmed yet again, that God is watching out for me! I do love getting that proof, even though I really shouldn't need it. So I praise God that we didn't loose a lot of money, or pictures!!!
