Life Moments for Celebration

Well another year, is almost over, and here I am, once again, wondering where it went! I guess it went flying by, because I was having so much fun, scrappin. Trying to squeeze out as many layouts as I could, when I found the time to be at the computer. Ok, I know, it was more like trying to find the time to do the house cleaning and get outside, between layouts. I know, I spent to much time at the computer, especially when it was nice outside, and hopefully I get to where I can do both, easier. I have tried to spend some time away from the computer this year, and sometimes I managed it, while others I just couldn't drag myself away.

Who knew, when I discovered Digital Scrapbooking a year and a half ago, that I would become so addicted, and love it this much, for this long. Usually I would discover I liked something, and then eventaully it would get so it didn't consume me so much, but so far, I haven't got so I didn't want to be scrappin, at least not for very long! A day or two here or there, doesn't count! It has pretty much taken over any TV time I wanted to have. I still watch some of our movies, and once in a blue moon, catch a show at night, that we used to watch, but if I miss it, oh well. It doesn't bother me. I haven't even read near as much either! And I always LOVED reading! I guess we just have so many photo's that I can't slow down yet!!! I am driven to scrap as many of them as possible, to get the storys down, for the future generation, should they care to know any of them. Granted we don't have kids, but the nieces and nephews may eventually want them.

Well this layout is for week 4 of the Memory Scraps contest at DigiZines Digital den. It shows three of my favorite memories to remember. My Niece's birth...and the 1st time I got to hold her. The day I met my DH, and our wedding. Precious memories.

This also means I am caught back up with the contest!! So I can try to catch up with the house work now, that I am feeling better. My cold is much better today, so maybe the rest of my Puffs box, won't have to be used after all!! So I don't know that I will get any more layouts done today, and don't know about tomorrow. We will see how it goes.

I hope everyone has a Safe and HAPPY New Year!! We are doing my favorite thing to bring in the new year.....staying home, and probably sleeping through it, or at least, having a quiet celebration, just the two of us!!! It sure beats going out, (or inviting people in) and having them all get drunk, and make fools of themselves! I just really love staying home with DH and enjoying the quiet! Its much nicer that way, for me. But, whatever you are doing for the New Year, I hope you all will stay Safe!! If you enjoy getting together with friends, great, I hope you have a good time! (Besides we are getting snow right now, and its actually pretty much covering the ground, and still comming, so who knows how much we will have by the end of the day!!!)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
