It's about time!!

I know, I know, its about time I posted again!! I have been trying to catch up on a few things, that I needed to get done, with the end of the year here, and all. Farm Bookwork, and cleaning out the file cabinet so its ready for all of 2007 bills, and receipts, along with other cleaning, and our monthly shopping. I planned on doing some of this a couple weeks ago, but the death of my Grandmother, kinda slowed me down. Course being sick, last week, didn't help either. Hopefully next week, I can get back into the swing of things, and scrap, scrap, and scrap some more!!! If I am lucky, tomorrow, I can do another one of the contest layouts for DigiZines Digital Den, as I am now behind again!

I hope all of you had a great start to the new year! I stayed up till Midnight, and then hit the sack.

I hear from my parents, that sometime soon, (whenever the phone company gets out to hook it up) they will be getting DSL!!! LOL Finally!!! I am glad that I won't have to suffer with dial up, the next time I go for a visit! I am also glad, that they will both be able to be online at the same time, so one of them doesn't HOG the computer. We all know who that seems to be, least when I am around! (especially in the winter) I love you anyway Dad!! LOL

Today, after getting a few other things done, I did manage to throw together a cover for the pocket calendar, that I bought yesterday. I have been getting one with a dachshund on it for a few years now, but I didn't want to go running all over town, looking for one this year, so I just bought one at Wally. Then my DH got the bright idea to make his own cover with a picture of his tractor for his, so I thought that was a wonderful idea, only I figured I would do like a layout type thing on mine, not just a picture....that way you don't have to open the calendar, to see the whole picture. I used a picture of my Doxie, and one of Blushbutters kits, so I could have roses on it, because I also love roses. This way, I can make a new one, should I decide that I want a change, or if I get time, and want to try for a better one. I thought it was a really cool idea, and would like to thank my DH for giving it to me!! Thanks Galen!! (course its kinda like "duh, why didn't you think of it!" LOL) I guess my brain has been on other things lately. (or something)
