Lovely Lady

I did this layout of my Great Aunt today. I thought the colors in the picture went with the kit quit well. Isn't she lovely? I have always thought she was a lovely lady, inside AND out. My DH got this photo, at the dinner after Grandma's funeral.

I haven't gotten alot done today, off the computer. I really need to, but I am still fighting this cold, and I just can't get going. I didn't sleep well last night, cause I am having trouble breathing through my nose. I just hate getting a cold, or the flu! LOL So this morning, I spent most of the morning, playing in photoshop, trying to fix alot of the pictures I took at the funeral. They really are better, (I think) but could probably be even better, if I know more about photo shop. But I have to say, I have learned a little more about it, and find its got some things in it, that make me think of Paint Shop Pro, so maybe it won't be to bad to try to figure out! Thanks to a couple of friends Vanessa, and Lara for a few pointers in photoshop!

In the middle of working on pictures this morning, I looked out my window, and saw 30 wild turkeys walking across our front yard. Some of them got up to the flat spot in front of our barn, before they all got scared away, so they all ran back the way they had came, back to the creek, and south. It was really cool to see, and I took some pictures through the window (don't know if they will turn out, cause I haven't put them on the computer yet). I couldn't believe how many there were, at first I only saw 8, (they are the ones that made it up close to our barn) and then I saw another big bunch a little ways behind them.

Well I better try to at least get the dishes put away in the kitchen, so that means I have to get off the computer. Hopefully I can work on more layouts this weekend, but we will see if I can concentrate, with this cold, kicking my rear! Its amazing I did as much as I did on here today, but am getting a headache so that could be the last of it!
