Its that time of year...

I promised myself last year, that no matter how much I don't want to, once a year, I would take a picture of myself (or have someone else do it) so there were would be a few pictures of me should family members want them. They don't have to be fantastic, posed, shots, with every hair in place (as if that would ever happen anyway! LOL) but I just needed to make that commitment, otherwise, I would make sure that I was behind the camera, and never in front of it. Soooo this round of layouts has me in it.

The first layout is my birthday layout. I took a picture of all my early gifts, and then held my arm out and took a picture of myself (DH wasn't around to do it for me). Let me tell you, its harder than it looks, especially if you want to look natural, to take a picture of yourself, with your arm extended out at the side, or front of you, and look like its just another moment, in time. LOL I decided this year, to take a picture of me, in my natural habitat, in front of the computer. Naturally you can't see the computer, since I took the picture, but I am looking at the screen. Thankfully that obligation is over for another year! LOL

The 2nd layout is me also, (of course) but I am holding our newest niece. I got coerced into having this picture taken, but since Trista (our niece) is adorable, I figure I should do a layout! LOL I do love the kit I used, the colors are sooooo me, and the lace of course, I love. Granted I don't wear a lot of lace, but I don't dress up much. However, I love it just the same! Don't you just love that torn paper in the first one, I think it really cool!

Well I hope everyone had a good week, and will have a great weekend!!! With tomorrow being my birthday, I will be shopping in the morning, I'm sure, and who knows what the afternoon will bring. I didn't get a kit made for my birthday this year, like I wanted to, but put together some cluster frames (kinda) so check back tomorrow, if you want them! My Birthday gift to you!
