I'm a happy camper!!

LOL I got my Ram upgraded yesterday finally, after talking about it for a few months!!!!! LOL Of Course that's the last big thing I can buy for a while, as now we have to start saving our pennies for some back tires on one of DH's tractors. He just got some new ones for the front yesterday too (can't believe my toy and his toy came UPS the same day! LOL) Well yes, I call them toys, cause they are what we wanted. Anyway, it didn't really help PSP XI run faster, so I sent in a help ticket and got an answer this morning! They were fast, so after I did a couple layouts (of the kind I can't share till Sept) I did what they told me too, which didn't take as long as I was afraid it would, and then I opened it, and did this layout! It worked!!!!! Yippee!! LOL Now I can use it instead of X!!! I still am not real fond of the organizer, but maybe it will grow on me. However it will be nice to not have to go back and forth between X and XI if I want to use the change color feature, and now I can learn more about the other new features!! Yep, a happy camper indeed!!!

This layout is my parents beside Lake Erie. They were back east for a craft show, and of course had to stop and see the lake. The only time I was by one of the Great Lakes it was really foggy, so they were lucky they got to actually see alot of the water! LOL This adorable kit is Lara's new one I told you about, and I just had to take a break on the other layouts I'm doing, and use it!! I'll do another one hopefully in the next day or two. If you notice along the bottom of the shell paper, I put some "sand" that she had in the kit...She has several different bunches of sand to choose from, even a frame. I thought that was kinda neat! :)

As for the other layouts I'm doing, that I won't show, because I want some as a surprise for my parents, I think I'm almost done, least with the ones I know I want to do! LOL Then maybe I can get back, more to normal. Hopefully if all goes like it has so far this week, another week will see them done. Course I can't always count on it going this well! I did have trouble with one set of the ones I did this week, and finally gave up, so Mom and Dad....they won't all be extra special, sorry! The one thing that makes these layouts special, is because my Mom and Dad wrote some journaling for them, so I'm trying to do as good a job as possible on them, which makes me take longer to do them. :) That sounds bad, I always try to do good, its just sometimes I give up on great, because after spending several hours on one, it just doesn't seem worth it to me, to keep trying to make it better. LOL

Well I hope everyone is having a good week. I just found out today that my niece has to have surgery on the 5th, so extra prayers for her would be wonderful! She is so special to me.
