Dainty by Lara Payton

I used Lara Payton's new kit today. I really like it, it works wonderfully for the older colored pictures. So natually I got a couple more layouts done for my parents album!! :) But now I have to stop doing layouts and get a few things done, so we can be gone tomorrow.

The first layout is my Dad and I watching some polaroids develope (LOL I don't know why that was so fun, but I remembered I loved to watch them). The 2nd picture is my brother and I sitting in some chairs that our Grandma Olson gave us. I still have mine, its in the attic, and it has a music box on it, so when I would rock, it played. I always loved it! I just can't believe I don't have a kitten in my arms....since it seems alot of the pictures of me growing up, I have a kitten, puppy, or goat in them! LOL

My DH is getting ready to add on to our barn. He wants more room for our goats, and more hay storage. He has been scrounging some things for it, for the past year, and so it won't cost us near what it would have, had we bought all new things. Granted it won't look as nice, but the goats don't mind. Neither do I since it saves us money! :) Anyway, I am trying to do my computer things in the morning, since my brain seems to work better for layouts then, so I can be more available in the afternoon for him. Hopefully it goes together fast, and doesn't get so hot we can't stand it untill it is! I'll have to try to do a layout of it when its done. If I manage to remember to get some pictures!

Well I doubt I will be posting here this weekend, with being gone, so I just want to say, Have a great weekend!

  2. What a wonderful feeling of joy you must have as you do each page layout. The photos of you and your father watching the Poloroids developed are fun indeed. I remember it so well. Love the various flourishes on each scrap. Each flourish adds that perfect touch. Your color combinations are dramatic in viewing and definitely enhances your precious photos. I love that your kit choice have happy colors that convey the feelings of each photo with joy & memory fulfillment. This kit is definitely a winner. Your choice to use them in the photos in the most positive way, yet each one is independent of the other. Excellent design coordination. HUGS!!!
