Playing some more with Blushbutters newest.

I made a DVD label last night, for my parents dvd that I made them. I don't have a template for the labels so am hoping this will not have anything important cut off! LOL I think its how I am going to leave it....I still have almost three weeks to change my mind though. I really love those flowers and that lace!
I also played with her newest kit today again, and did a couple more layouts with the photo's from DH's cousin's wedding. The bad part about it is,that the pictures really aren't that good. It was dark in the room and the pictures turned out really dark (big surprise) so I lightened them up, they they are not real clear, when you look close at them. However they are all I have, and get the point across as to whats going on, so I used them! I guess I will just not look real close at them! LOL The first one is of course the wedding couple, and the next one is the bride dancing with her dad...they danced like that the whole dance, I think he will be missing his little girl...and the groom dancing with his mom.

Kit credit for All: Victorian Wedding by Blushbutter except for the blue background on the DVD label, is from Victorian Heritage by Blushbutter
The colors of the wedding were pink and Black, so I thought this kit would work good for at least some of the pictures without recoloring any of the elements. Oh and I finally used an alpha again! LOL Blushbutter has made so many really nice alpha's lately, I'm trying to get to where I can use them, and actually like how I use them. I loved this lace one that came with the kit (there are a lot of alpha's that came with this kit!!) so had to use it first!! I really loved that torn heart too, with it folded back, to make the 2nd half of the heart. Its so perfect for a couple!! (Although really you could use it for anything you loved!)

I started some more of my favorite pickles today, they have to soak in lime water for a bit. The neighbor gave us some more cucumbers, so I just had to make more, as I only got 5 qt out of the last batch. I know those wouldn't last that long! LOL
DH has all the rafters up on the barn now, with the help of his sister and the neighbor. I thank God I didn't have to climb, and he provided help for DH!! This neighbor who helped us is really a lot of help to DH!! He is what neighbors should be, and usually aren't. DH and him are always helping each other out (DH just got done helping him put up hay), they kid each other a lot, and I'm really thankful we have him and his wife living just up the road. God is good!
Tomorrow (if all goes well) I'm going to take a little break and work with a new kit Lara Payton just put out! Then I will prob come back to this one of Blushbutters, because I haven't done the set of pictures I was going to do, when I first started out with this kit, of my parents 25th anniversary. Silly me, I just started playing and couldn't stop! LOL But I really need to get those done, for their album, so I better work on those this week too, if I can. I think I got away from doing layouts for their album, and can't get back to it! LOL
I hope everyone will have a great week!!

I love the elegant alpha on these. They're very nice wedding layouts!
