Happy Birthday to my Darling Hubby!
This morning I was able to get a couple layouts done with Lara Payton's newest kit, and had a lot of fun with it! I used the photo's of my niece from her Christmas Dance at school, and loved how well they went with the colors in the kit. This is Kali and her boyfriend, just before the dance on the lst layout and at the dance, in the 2nd layout.
Kit Credit for both: Adoration & Adoration mini kit both by Lara Payton.
After I finished the layouts, we found out our tax papers were ready (since we sold the farm land, we decided to have them done, instead of trying to figure out everything ourselves) so we were gone for most of the afternoon, and it was a really BEAUTIFUL afternoon too! It got up into the 50's, and there wasn't a cold wind blowing, so it was nice out. I would love to have spent the time with our goats, but it was nice to not have to freeze when we were going between the car and the buildings. It was also nice to get all that darn tax stuff taken care of...till next year.
Since tomorrow is my wonderful hubby's birthday, we also bought him a cake...I was going to make him a strawberry one, like he requested, especially since last year we ended up buying one since we were gone that day, and then I never heard the end of the fact that I didn't make him his strawberry cake, but he promised he would behave this year, and not mutter about not getting his strawberry one...not that he was serious, but still, I had to get that promise, before I let him pick out a cake! *giggle* He will have to wait a month or two for his strawberry one, but since we don't have a store bought cake very often, I think he was kinda happy to get one of those. Anyway I want to say Happy Birthday Galen, I do hope you have a good day! (I know, I can tell him in person, and will, but I know he reads this too, so thought I'd wish him one here too.) :) Feel free to join me in wishing him a happy birthday, by leaving him a comment on his blog, if you want to! *giggle*
Anyway, I managed to get out to see the goats for a little bit, once we got home, so will have to work on figuring out which photo's to put on flicker after I get my LO's posted in my galleries. The babies enjoyed the nice weather today, although I didn't get any cute leaping around photos of them. LOL I did finally notice that it looks like at least one if not both of the newest milk goats that we bought last fall, are starting to look like they will maybe give us babies, so that makes me happy. I was starting to worry about them, cause if they don't have babies, they won't have any of that wonderful milk I'm so in love with having!! LOL I think I better get serious about getting more of the things we need to make cheese with, now that I think we may have milk in a few months again. I'm really hoping to get a couple of little girls out of them, so we have some backup full blood Nubian's, (Nubian's are suppose to give a lot of good milk) but we will see, God will give us what he wants us to have, I'm sure. :)
Anyway, I better get busy and get my LO's posted around, so I can hopefully get some pictures on flicker too tonight. Tomorrow morning I have to make Pizza, since that's what DH wants for his birthday supper, so I'm ready to go outside in the afternoon, if it does get warm again, like they say it will. Have a great day, and enjoy the heat wave, if you are lucky enough to be getting one, when it's suppose to be cold!! *giggle* Thanks so much for your comments. :)
Happy birthday to your hubby!!!
