Classwork
As I've mentioned several times already, I've been taking some ps classes, and this month I started one on brushes at DSP. I've never really used brushes as much as I should, even when I was using psp. I knew they were cool, and could do some neat things, but I never figured out exactly how to make them work for me. Now that I'm trying to learn ps, and it has even more options for brushes, I thought it was time to learn more. This first layout is for my first lesson, in the brushes class. We aged a photo, and then made a mat for it, with a torn edge. I really love how the photo turned out, the flower was a bright pink in the original one...which I used, the past, in a layout which you can see here. I love the aged photo look...and I love knowing how the torn edge is made...its a lot of work, but kinda neat.

Last week, I did this page and just didn't get it posted. I used the page frame from my latest kit, to frame the photo, I kinda had to change the shape slightly, but I thought it added to the LO, so just had to use it. This is one of my niece's Sr pictures.

Well I have a few days before the other class I'm taking at go digital starts, so hopefully I can get some things done, that I HAVE to do this week. I am hoping some of that includes some layouts, but I won't hold my breath! *giggle* I have some of the photos I took this weekend picked out and ready for flicker, but haven't managed that either, so that's one of the things on my list of things to do. We will see if I can manage that some evening this week.
I hope you all have a great week, it's suppose to be nicer at the end of the week again, so hubby is hoping to get some fencing done...boy it sure would be nice if all that was finished, so we didn't always have that staring us in the face! I guess that's the price we pay, for living our dream life, on our beautiful farm, and getting one that needs fences. Maybe in 20 years or so, we will have them all finished....just in time to start mending them!! LOL
Have a great week, and thanks for your comments here & through e-mails, I'm really glad you liked my latest kit! :)
