Layout Challenge Feb. 2009
This month's Layout Challenge on the Blush ~n~ Dusty Yahoo group is do to a layout showing what your day is like. I think it would be interesting to know what everyday life was like for my ancestors, so just maybe you will have someone in the future, wonder what your life was like too. So come join us on the yahoo group, and do a layout to share with us, and to keep for future generations!
We went and did our monthly shopping today, and as usual I'm tired. LOL We had to go to the health food store again, and since that memorable time in November (read about it here, if you haven't, or have forgotten) we've been back, but the guy that was there that day, wasn't working, least not where we saw him. This time however he was, and I may not have noticed, till we got to the register, but my wonderful darling hubby, who will NEVER let me forget, or live down anything that is highly embarrassing, had to say "Uh-Oh" as we walked in the door.
Somehow, (it must have something to do with how well I know him *giggle*) I KNEW exactly what he was saying that for, and looked over, and sure enough, there he was. Unfortunately, I looked over just in time to see the guy look around and see us, and it looked like he did a double take...like he recognized us, the only reason he would recognize us, is because I was an idiot the last time I was in there, when he was a cashier. Needless to say, I got what I wanted and got out of there, although not with out some chuckles, and teasing from that hubby of mine, who was NOT very nice by doing some of the teasing while we were in the store! Not that I care to ask the poor kid, but I would really like to know if he heard me, and took it wrong in November or not. LOL
Needless to say, we both got another chuckle out of it, even though I was embarrassed again...course really I think that's the BIGGEST reason hubby got such a kick out of it today, cause he knew I was. I tell you, he would be so bored if he didn't have me around to entertain him!! It seems like we always find something to laugh at when we go out shopping...just hope it's not something that makes me want to crawl into a hole, all of the time. *giggle* It's good to laugh though, so I suppose I'll put up with it, and my wonderful hubby is good at making me laugh, even when it's at my own expence, so for that I'm thankful. :)
Well I better get off here, have a great night/day! Thanks so much for your comments. :)
That poor kid has been scarred for life....but it sure makes shopping fun!
