Had fun with Blushbutter's newest kit!!

Well Blushbutter has done it again...put out a beautiful kit that I can see using over and over again. I used it on these 4 layouts and had way to much fun with them!! LOL I especially LOVE those beautiful flowers so had to use them large, even though I'm not to sure my niece is a huge flower lover. I guess she will have to put up with them though!! LOL

Kit Credit for all 4 layouts is Glamour Starlet by Blushbutter.

Oops, I almost forgot, the frame in the first two layouts is by Blushbutter and available in her Creased Frame pack.

The first layout is my niece with her baby cousin, she adores her, which I think is wonderful, kinda reminds me of me when she came along. LOL

The 2nd layout is Kali and a couple friends at the barn warming dance last fall. These first two pages are for her book.

The next two are for my 2008 book. They are a couple of photos she had taken, when she was getting her Sr photos taken. I would so love to have copies of all the photos she had taken, but count my blessings for the ones I do have. Isn't that background with all the glitter hearts all over it cool, well I thought it was anyway. *giggle* Since I was keeping these two layouts more simple, for the photos to be the main focus, I didn't use the flowers so big, on the one layout, but as you can see, I still had to use them on a page for my book, even if they aren't in your face as much as on the first two pages I did with the kit.

As you can see, I had a little fun scrapping. I had thought we might be gone today, so did a couple of these last night, but then we ended up not going, so I got to do another couple before I posted them here. I had figured I wouldn't be able to play with this kit till next week, but after downloading it, I just couldn't wait so opened photo shop up after supper and had fun! I even managed to use one of the alpha's in the kit on that first layout...you know me, I really don't do well with Alpha's for some reason, but I just HAD to use that one, cause it's just to cool, it could have been done better (by someone else) but at least I was fairly happy with how it turned out. LOL

It snowed a little bit this morning and is suppose to again this afternoon. It didn't amount to much yet, just snowed enough that I could see it in the grass (although that's gone now) and I doubt it's going to be a huge storm this afternoon/evening, but it's possible we will get an inch or two anyway...maybe a little more, who knows. Needless to say, February is back for a little while. We have had so many days of warm weather in the last month or so we have gotten a bit spoiled. I can't complain about more snow though, we really haven't had all that much in our neck of the woods this winter.

Well anyway, I better get off the computer, I promised DH I'd make some cookies this afternoon, so I better get at it. It's a lot warmer in the kitchen anyway, cause the wood stove is going, so I think I can handle that for a little while. LOL I hope you all have a great weekend and don't forget to go check out Blushbutter's newest kit!! As usual it's beautiful...and it's on sale for a short time!!

  1. These are sure pretty. I like the ones you did for Kali's book, the flowers on them are so nice. The other 2 LO's are so elegant, I think it is there simplicity that gives them their elegance.
