Playing with templates and glitter

I managed to do a couple layouts for Kali's book today, and also played with one of Blushbutter's new templates and her beautiful glitter. What fun!! LOL I did erase most of the journaling on these two layouts, as it's a letter Kali wrote to her parents, when she was making a Mother's day and Father's day gift for them one year. I thought I would include the letters on a couple layouts in her book, with some photos of her with her parents. The layout for her and her Dad has a photo of the project she was making for him on it, but I didn't have one of her Mom's, so I just did the glitter flowers on that one.

Kit Credits: Template #3 in set2, Glitter Glitz & Glam X6 set (I used the purple and the silver/blue set on the Mom layout, The glitter on the Dad layout came from her other glitter style here. Good men kit, Draco Celtic kit & Fairy kisses in blue. Some things were recolored for the Mom layout.

Well yesterday was a beautiful day, warm and really nice to be out in (which was a good thing, since we had to make an unexpected trip to Lincoln, which is why I got nothing done yesterday LOL) but today it's windy and cold again, although the sun is shinning some of the time, so at least it looks pretty outside. Nice fluffy clouds in the sky. With the wind, comes the cold in my office, so I really need to go warm up in another room of the house, especially my hands. LOL Maybe I can warm them up on my hubby's neck...sounds like a great idea to me!! *giggle*

Needless to say, with nothing getting done yesterday in the scrappin department, that means I won't get as much done this week as I would have liked to, cause Monday I worked on lesson's, and I have to do that again tomorrow. I guess that's what I get for taking two classes in the same month...next month I'm considering doing 3, but I can't decide if I will have time for anything else if I do, so we will have to wait and see I guess. LOL I really should just do two, like I did this month...but what's the fun in that. *giggle*
