Family Tree
Well here is my LO for the LO challenge on Blush ~n~ Dusty. It's a family tree for my niece's book, this is her Dad's side (my side) of her family tree, I haven't gotten the info yet to do one for her Mom's side. Hopefully I can get it soon, so I can get the matching page finished up!

I've been putting this off for some time now, and now I know why, it took forever to do and was a pain, but it's going to be a great addition to her book and is something I want to have in my own heritage book, if I ever get back to working on one. LOL It's good to have this one done, just can't wait to have both done so I don't have to think about doing all that again anytime soon! *giggle* I have to say it's not near as fun to do as most of the other pages have been, but still worth it to have the info for her, in her book.
I've been busy getting ready for company next week around here. Which is why I haven't gotten much done on the computer besides my classwork and this one layout...course the classwork and layout took a bit longer than usual, so that hasn't helped. I haven't done major house cleaning...that's just something I don't ever do it seems, but I figured I probably should at least scrub the kitchen floor a little since I've been thinking it needed done, even before I knew company may be coming. Course then I look around and see all kinds of other things that should be done...but then I look away and make myself forget about it, so I don't go crazy trying to do it all before they get here. *giggle* That just goes to show you what kind of housekeeper I am...I have the hit and miss philosophy, and most of the time it's more on the miss side, when it comes to cleaning. I did some dusting this week too, and it was more of the miss variety than the hit also...*sigh* my Mom TRIED to teach me better...I was just a lost cause! *giggle* Thankfully my darling hubby doesn't want to live in a museum, and thinks I do just fine, so I don't have to have a spotless house. I am so blessed! :)
I do generally keep it so it's picked up and presentable, but there does tend to be dust on things and spots on the floor, before I give in and do a little extra cleaning. Can I blame it on my digi scrappin' addiction? LOL
Anyway, hopefully all goes well, and my two scrappin' Friends can make it up for their visit. One is suppose to come on Tuesday, and the other the following weekend. I'm so excited about it, and am so looking forward to it! It will be the first time I get to meet one of them, the 2nd for the other. They are bringing their kids, and we are hoping we have some new baby goats by then...Rosy is really slowing down and laying around, but even if she decides she has to hang onto her kid/kids for a little bit longer, they will be able to see our older kids, and hopefully it's warm and dry, so the older babies will want to be outside jumping around the barnyard, entertaining us.
Needless to say next week is going to be a pretty busy week for me too, which means not to many posts either, but I'm sure I'll get one or two in, in between visits. I may even share a few photos if they don't mind...at least of the kids enjoying the goats, if it's not to cold to be outside. We will see though. :)
Anyway, it's getting late, so I need to get to bed. I should have some more classwork to work on tomorrow so doubt I'll be posting again till later next week...unless the classwork is so interesting to me I decide to bore you with it! LOL Have a great weekend and thanks so much for your comments! :)
OMGoodness, what an awesome family tree page!!!!!
