A Mothers Love

I just wanted to make a quick post this morning to show you this. I got to playing last night again with the pen tool, to make sure it wasn't a fluke that I managed to trace a photo and came up with this. Again it's not perfect, but I think it turned out cute. This is from a photo of Crystal in her younger days curled around one of her puppies. I had a little trouble getting the "puppy" to look like a puppy, but hopefully you get the point. I'm thinking I need to find a class on digital painting next though...cause while I did try to do some definition with a darker color and a brush, I really need help in that area! *giggle* Maybe I'll just have to hunt up some tutorials sometime if I ever find the time, although I doubt I'd ever get real good at that. LOL

Better get off here and get busy, have some things to do around the house today along with classwork so I should get started. Have a great day! :)

  2. I like your drawing. Guess I need your program. I sure can't draw. Of course I probably don't need to much.

Hi Deb, oh your puppy dogs are gorgeous!
I want to learn to do those drawings to, I have used the pentool ages ago but sadly have forgotten how to again now. I wonder if I can find a video tutorial on how to do it, I learn much better by videos :)
Love your pages and your goat is fantastic!!!

  4. Thanks so much!! And Vanessa, the class I'm taking had several video's in this first weeks lessons, maybe why I managed to figure it out for a change! LOL A friend has been watching some on You tube and is learning some that way too. However I'm glad I took this Path's class at DSP cause I don't know how long it would have taken me to learn it without it, since I've tried before, and given up on it. LOL Without the class I guess it's to easy to give up for me...sad to say. Not that I had any trouble figureing out how to do it, with the class, she is good at explaining it I guess! :)

  5. Yes, I agree Deb, you did a terrific job on your dogs. I really don't like that pen tool much myself. Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog! Hope you have a good weekend!
