Playing with my new kit

I've been working on a new kit (called Secret Garden) for the last month or so (yes I'm slow when it comes to making kits) and finally pretty much have it finished up I think. I still haven't gotten it in the store, I need to separate it into several zips cause it's way to big for one or two, and then upload it. Course I seem to be having trouble with my store right now so will have to put in a help ticket if it keeps up and find out what is going on, before I can do that, but it's not just my store (3 others that I know of are down too), so I think my host is doing something that has affected getting onto our sites. Anyway, hopefully in the next week or so I'll have it in the store ready for purchase!

Anyway, I got to playing with my new kit today and came up with these 4 layouts! The first two I did, cause I thought the kit would work great for those photos I took the other day, and then I just wanted to play and make a "scene" so did the 3rd layout and cut out a photo of one of our Doxie's that I took last month for it. The 4th layout is to go beside the 3rd and has the rest of the photos I took that day of Autumn. I had a lot of fun, and it felt good to make several pages for a change...especially when I managed to do so with my own kit! *giggle*
If I have the time I do like to use my new kits, before I upload it to the store, so I can add anything to it, that I find I want to make as I go along. I don't always do this, but if I can, I'm going to try to because this time I wanted some "dirt" scattered around once I got into my page, so I made some and added it to the kit too. :) I guess it helps me know that the kit could use something else, and since I'm not always the best at coming up with ideas, unless I am needing them, it just works better for me to play before I'm totally done with a kit. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the LO's, and will like the kit once I get it in the store!

We got a tiny bit of rain this weekend, and I swear overnight the grass greened up big time! I couldn't believe how green it was the next morning, even DH commented on it. The trees are finally starting to look like they will be greening up too, the weeping willow has leaves as does our pear trees and the apple tree is getting some too! The cottonwoods have a hint of green high up and with the frogs singing and the daffodils blooming I'd say spring is here! It's way to windy today though, and so not as warm as it would feel if it wasn't, but hopefully later in the week the wind won't be so bad...I was hoping it wouldn't be today so I could get some more photo's of the pear blossoms but...I guess I'll live. LOL It really is good to see a bit more green outside now, that brown was starting to get on my nerves. *giggle* I guess I was finally getting ready for spring and it didn't seem to be coming. My friend (Jamie) who lives south of KC has already mowed her yard several times...we haven't even thought about it here, that just seems so odd, cause I don't think of her as being THAT much farther south (well yes it's at least 3 hrs but she's had it green for several weeks already) but I guess she is.

I hope you all have a great week! Hopefully I'll manage some more LO's, but only time will tell. Thanks so much for your comments both here on my blog, through e-mails and on flicker!! :)
