I LOVE flowers!

I love flowers

Yesterday I had noticed some daffy's blooming beside our house...I had forgotten they were there, because they haven't done to well...we planted some all along that side of the house, and this is all that is left...story of my life. *giggle* Anyway since I love them I went out today to get some photos, and while I was rolling around on the ground (yes I actually did that for some photos today...not something I do a lot of, but I'm so glad I did!) I noticed a chicken down at the other end of the house, and started trying to get it into the photo's.

Before the Interruption

I took some with it in focus and with the flowers in focus as it walked it's way towards me. It was walking in the flowers most of the way, so wasn't all that visible in some of them...so I didn't put them on flicker. However if finally got up close to me and popped out where I could get a good photo of it.

Interruptions

This is my favorite photo of it I think, I love the color on the chicken and the flowers and grass.

The chicken stayed close for a little while, I could have reached out and grabbed it, but being addicted to taking photos I kept my hands on my camera. It even walked out a little ways from the flowers so I could get a photo of it without the flowers in the way.

Interruptions

Don't you love that one feather that sticks up...it makes it more interesting I think, although I have to admit, I wanted to reach out and pluck it! *giggle*

Then once it decided it had posed enough for my camera, it turned and walked back into the flowers...

Interruptions

...walked around me and went on it's way.

I just love flowers!! Especially when they give me an interesting photo op! :)

Just had to share! :) If you were hoping for a goat story instead of a chicken one, you can visit my DH's blog, he has one on there in his newest post here.

Have a lovely weekend, in case I don't get back to make a post before next week!!
