A warmer day

I have done a letter to Kali from both of her Grandparents and her Mom & Dad, but even though I'm just her Aunt, since I'm making the book for her, she will get one from us too. These are the two pages I did for our letter to her, and yes it does take up all that empty space on the two layouts! I finally had to decide that if I wanted any room for photos at all I better shut up! *giggle* The thing is, the 2nd page is going to change hopefully...depending on if I manage to get good photos like I want of what I want at her Graduation. I want to change the one in the larger frame up top and the cut out of her in her prom dress...IF I get the photos I want. Till then, I'll show it off like this. LOL The little photos in the stamp frame will stay the way they are though.

I really like how these first two layouts turned out, course they don't have the same effect without all the journaling...but I hope you get the picture.

Kit Credit for the first two layouts: Victorian Lady kit, Glamour Starlet kit Glitter Glitz Glam Gold & Digi Frame Pk ALL by Blushbutter

I wanted a layout to go with the dream one for my 2009 book so that last layout is one I threw together for that. Needless to say I didn't spend lots of time on it, and I realize it shows...but what can I say, I was in a hurry. LOL I used product from several different Blushbutter kits to make it.

It was a much nicer day today than it has been. It was nice and sunny and no wind to freeze you where you stand. I went out and spent some time with the babies and had fun watching them. We let the 5 bottle fed babies outside for the first time to run around and play beside the barn, where the older goats can't get to, because we closed a gate. They had a nice large area to run around in, and a hill to play on, and had a ball.

This is one of the photos I took. This little one loved to run around the most, and bounce and come down the hill sideways in a leap. He is so funny to watch. My favorite the little Nubian played a lot too, but didn't leap quit as many times as this one did...and most of the best times this one did, I missed cause I didn't have my camera ready, cause I was watching them or playing with them to much. LOL Oh well, it's not like I don't have enough photos of goats leaping, it's just an addiction I have I think, to see if I can get more and even better ones. *giggle*

As much as I love our new Dairy goat babies and think they are cute, I'm still partial to our Boer babies These are Bossy's and are our newest babies and aren't they just adorable!! So tiny yet, but getting around good. They got to go out with the older goats, cause they had a Mom to protect them, as did Rosy's baby. You can see more photos of them and the others having fun on the hill beside the barn on flicker if your interested.

DH is in the process of cutting a hole in the side of the barn so the 5 youngsters who can't run with the big goats yet can get out into their pen for some sun and exercise yet still be able to come in on their own. It will be so it can be closed at night, so something can't get them out there, since Yani can't get to that part either, but it's visible from the house, so hopefully something won't get them during the day. Speaking of Yani, she is such a good girl (our livestock guard dog for those of you who don't remember who Yani is). DH has a short story on his blog about her today, here...for any who are interested.

Well enough rambling I guess, I have e-mails to answer since I was bad today and ignored them all day...plus LO's to post, so I better get busy. Tomorrow is homework day, so doubt I'll be scrapping. Hopefully it doesn't take the rest of the week to finish it so I can do more LO's but who knows, I guess I really need to do some other things around here to this week...like bake bread probably on Friday. So anyway, have a great rest of the week!
