Sweet Summertime
Ahhh the sweet sights of summer... the bees gathering pollen...
and the moths....
and butterflies fluttering around the colorful flowers makes for a beautiful trip outside, even in this heat (100+ degrees in the SHADE).
The cotton from the Cotton wood trees is blowing on the breeze and the smell of freshly cut hay is strong as I snap some photos of my DH enjoying playing on his tractors as he cuts the hay...
rakes the hay...
and then bales it.
But WAIT!!! WHATS THIS?
Oh NOOOOO, looks like it's time to get to work and get it in the barn!
You all can dream of the sweet sights of summer while I dream of my nice cool air conditioned office...or my recliner sitting right in front of the vent. *sigh*
Obviously our brains got fried in this heat, since we are out in it doing hay...course if we hadn't been getting rain every day or two, we would have had it finished by now so we didn't have to be. Ok gotta get back out there and see if DH is finished bailing so we can get the bales in the barn.
Oh and btw, if you would like to see even more photos of the butterflies AND the hay go look on flicker. Also DH put up some video's on YouTube of him doing the hay, if you care to see them you can go here. He will have a baling the hay one up once he gets time to upload it I think. I have to apologize for the shakiness of them...I spazed out a few times while I was trying to get them. *giggle*
Have a wonderful week...I'll be back once I recover. :)
