For the Love of Animals
Yesterday afternoon I went outside with my camera to see what DH was up to. I took our Doxie's with us, because they weren't going to let me say no this time, they wanted to romp outside their fence...after all we all know it's always greener on the other side of the fence! LOL
I played around trying to get a good photo of Rascal's "Cute Look" and this first photo is as close as I got. He has a look, that I just think is so adorable with the way he stands, and holds his ears, and this is pretty close, but every time I went to take his photo when he was looking like that, he would look away...so I finally gave up and took photos of our other animals. I don't know why he is camera shy, the silly lovable mutt! LOL
Course some of the cats were out there too, hoping DH would stop so they could bug him. Tractor Buddy is always usually the worst, but this little Orange one has been taking lessons from her I think.
Tractor Buddy was the first pest, she of course climbed up on DH's shoulders almost as soon as he sat down on the tailgate to rest. Here she is rubbing against the back of his neck, and standing as tall as she can to try to knock his hat off his head.
Then after Tractor Buddy leaves, along comes Pest #2 or maybe we should call her "pest in training". She says Hi to him...
...then the next thing we know she is up on his shoulders too, knocking his hat off...she managed to get it all the way off too right after this photo was taken. LOL I am just wondering if they will ever BOTH be climbing around on him at the same time...we will have to wait and see. For someone who has always professed to not like cats, the cats sure LOVE him!! *giggle*
Our calves are still doing good, we named the one we are going to keep Belle. I thought that was the prettiest name out of all of them DH came up with. We still haven't renamed the other one...maybe one of these days we will. This last photo is a close up of Belle as she is grazing. She still hasn't tamed down yet, but it's still early. DH did get her halter put back on after I took this photo, so least now she may be able to be caught easier so he can show her that petting is nice.
I managed to do a few more LO's this morning, but decided they weren't anything majorly special so I decided to post photos instead of layouts. LOL I think tomorrow I'm going to do a little more organizing of my 2006 photos so I know exactly how many LO's I still have to do...so I doubt I'll get any scrapping done. I hope everyone has a great weekend!!
