Our Doxie's make me laugh.

Both of our doxie's make us laugh from time to time. This afternoon I took a blanket outside to enjoy the nice warm sun for a little while, before winter hits and left the dogs in at first. The cats loved that, cause they had us to themselves and could enjoy the sunshine with us.


Tippy lay on the edge of the blanket and snoozed till DH decided to let the dogs out, since they were starting to howl from being left in...this is something they do alot when we both leave the house and leave them behind (even though they DO have a dog door, so they CAN get out into the back yard). *giggle*


Tractor Buddy was the only really brave cat who came and lay on DH's shoulders while the dogs were outside. The dogs didn't like her laying on THEIR human like that, at all and started barking at her and wouldn't shut up...


...I caught a photo of Autumn mid bark, which gave me the giggles when I saw it. Doesn't she look vicious....or...ok, just plain funny? I did try to make sure she didn't know I was laughing at her because I'd hate for her to stop letting me take her picture! *giggle*


Eventually Tractor Buddy got down, and bravely, slowly walked away. The dogs were itching to chase her, but managed to listen to me as I told them no. I could tell Tractor Buddy was prepared to high tail it out of there if she needed to, but wanted to look as dignified as possible for as long as possible and not give in to her fear. Luckily she managed to get out of the area before they couldn't stop themselves from giving chase.

All in all it was a beautiful day today, it got up into the low 70's with plenty of that sunshine I love so much. It was a little unusual for November...but not unheard of. I enjoyed our time outside with the dogs, cats, chickens, & ducks close by...and the cows and goats in the distance. They make a nice lounge in the sun more interesting. Course the laugh I got when I uploaded the photos I took, to the computer was nice too...poor Autumn, little does she know she made my day complete by letting me get a funny photo like that. *snicker*
